OT , but good to know I'll be using an '02 Sequoia to tow this summer, seems a lot heavier than my Tundra, but same power plant.....

Atlanta Marine and SC had an impressive display at the Atlanta boat show. I love the new Moomba tower looks like Supras little brother is growing up. Free admission tickets on line , 10 dollar parking and a great show isn't hard to take after paying 39 dollars [admission and parking] and a not so good show in Chicago.

Dangit, I've been looking to buy a Sequoia for a towing substitute so I can get rid of my 4Runner. That's disappointing, it's pretty flat running around in the valley but if I want to tow out of it I may have some trouble with a Seq.

Love the pics. I asked this over on Moomba but is the Worlds orange or red?

My wife and I recently went to the boat show here in Nashville. We were a little disappointed. We are also interested in the big boats(meaning cruisers) and there were only 4 or 5 of them there. But as for the "play" boats there was a pretty good showing. We love our 85 comp but we know its just our beginner boat and will upgrade in the next couple of years. We have pretty much fallen in love with the Axis 22. We have only seen them in the show for the past 2 years and have never seen one on the water here. They are made by Malibu but just don't have all the bells and whistles that we don't really need anyway. To go along with that they are a good bit cheaper so you get the same wake and a newer boat for less money. They are really sleek looking too. If you haven't seen them then check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the reviews and pics - I hope someone from Supra gets to see the comments.

I looked at the Axis they had two at the show. I wasnt very impressed. The whole boat looks cheap tower, interior and that pickle fork bow reminds me of my 73 tri hull invader. The prices were high 40s not what I would expect from an entry level boat. I thought Moomba's were much nicer and coast less. The Moomba is not just a striped down Supra anymore. Make sure you demo the boat before you buy.
