Home Made Fresh Air Exhaust for 100$ (Sunsport 87)
Hey guys, Here's my new fresh air exhaut system made by me and two friends , it take about 6-7 to make it but it's really nice !!
Material we use :
- 3'' stainless pipe 1' long (free)
- 3'' aluminium pipe 10' long x 1/8'' thick (65$)
- 2x 3'' stainless exhasut clamp (15$ ea.)
1- We cut the the 1' stainless pipe in half and weld each part to the plates that are srewed to the transom.
2- Couple measurment here and there + couple 22.5 degree cut on the aluminium pipe , welding all together
and grindind a bit to smooth it out.
3- VOILA !!
4- Now i have to decide if i polish/chrome it or powder coating flat black or blue like the boat will be paint next autumn !?
