    Default carpet replacement

I got my glue and carpet from perfect fit.

Next time I will get Corinthian carpet. Not that I'm unhappy but why not use the best since you're going to all the trouble/labor of doing it.
I also started out spraying the glue but ended up just using a roller to prevent overspray. Also 3m adhesive remover (you know the stuff right?) works great to safely remove the glue from any carpet, upholstery, or fiberglass that may need to be cleaned up.

Got a pic of the trim Haugy?

Haugy, I'm still looking deciding on what glue/adhesive. This is what i'm thinking of using as of now

    A great source for carpet - http://inglescarpetinc.com

I would not use that spray adhesive. I used some indoor/outdoor glue that is about the consistency of mayonnaise. I bought it from Ingles Carpet since I'm local, but you can get it at most home improvement stores.

I'm looking at the carpet from Corinthian Marine. I hope to get some samples in soon. I'm going with a heavy 40oz thick plushy carpet. I'm debating on color for two reasons. The overall look, and how dark it truly is. I've been in boats with gray carpet and it burned the hell out of your feet. What do you guys think?

As for glue I'm just going to take some of the recommendations here and see what I can find, and if I get the Corinthian, I'm sure they'll have some input on the adhesive. I start taking apart the seats this weekend to see how it all looks.

Here are the two I'm looking at:

The trim piece I was referring to is right there at the middle pass through. You can see the black trim piece in between the helm station and the spotters seat (old pic before things were fixed).

    This stuff?
Got mine from viper but think any of the marine supply companies in Tennessee could get it if you ask.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I knew I should have just gone to the PBB.

I've tried Viper time and again, and the one time I got in touch with him he gave me "i've got better shit to do" attitude. I don't call back anymore.

Yeah, I should say it was never installed because the product he sent me albeit an exact match had the adhesive backing melted off of it and it was a huge sticky mess. I figured it must have been sitting around for a very long time. I'm pretty sure I threw it out.

I am planning on replacing the carpet in my boat and I am looking for something to replace the trim shown in the previous post. I have done a number of searches and cannot find anything. If anyone has any suggestions on where to find something similar I would appreciate it.
