Default If I wanted to put a Bow sack UNDER the storage compartments, how would I get it in?

So, I have a '92 Sunsport and I have looked and seen that there's unused space in the bow that's under all the storage compartments. I was able to see it through the engine air intake vents when I took them out to do some tower wiring. So, I know someone on here has added a bow sack in that space, but they did it when they did a stringer replacement if I remember right.

Has anyone else though of putting in a hidden bow sack that wouldn't take up any of your storage? What would be the best way to go about this? How big of bag would be optimal?

Also, any pics of that area under the front storage would be interesting to see...

I don't know since my 95 is open down to the hull when you lift the bow cushions. But I'm interested in what kind of storage yours has up there. I know I have an actual ski locker where I believe you have a cooler under the pass thru but what's under your bow cushions.

Well, basically under the playpen bow are two storage compartments that are the same depth as the cooler and the same depth as the under the observer seat storage. The storage behind the observer seat doesn't go as deep as the cooler, so there's definitely dead space there.

I don't have any great pics, but here's one with a 400 pound bag in one of the compartments.

The cooler is the same depth as the storage under the observer seat.

I have before put a bag that's about 150 pounds I would guess in the cooler.

But it's really nice to have that cooler space to use for food/drinks/snacks. Makes the wife WAY happier.

Yeah there's a lot of wasted space under there mine opens up under the pass thru down to the depth of the bottom of the bilge and then of course follows the bow contour up but under the cushions there isn't a divider it's all one large cavity.

Now the question is how best to access it...

I don't know if this helps you any on the size of the space but here's a few pics of mine. Last one is me sitting on the leading edge of the ski locker with my leg in it for something to guage the size of the cavity. The first is me standing about 8" in front of the windshield and its knee deep up to the bottom of the fiberglass that supports the cushions.20140327_171641.jpg 20140327_171423.jpg20140327_171534.jpg
