Question 1998 Supra Comp will turn over but will not start. Need help!!

I have replaced the coil and the ignition module on the distributor. I have also used a meter to troubleshoot why engine will not start. I am getting plenty of fuel in the carburator so I know it is not a fueling issue. It is definitely a firing problem. The engine turns over but will not start. It seems that the distributor may need to be replaced. I want to be sure that the distributor is the problem before I commit to purchasing a new one. Using a tester it seems that I am not getting a pulse on the distributor. Any other ideas or suggestions on troubleshooting?

Did you check and wiggle the safety lanyard by the drivers seat? Is it firmly in neutral?

It is a pulse generator distributor. The engine is a 1998 Chevrolet 350 small block.

I know it is not fuel problem. It is definitely a firing issue. I have just recently replaced the coil and even replaced the ignition module on the distributor. I want to make sure the distributor is the problem before a buy another.
