Kicker HLCD 6-pack tower speakers in pods with custom LED's
I have a set of Kicker 6500.2 HLCD speakers with the extra pair of midrange to make them the 6-pack. I have used the 4 of them for 2 seasons and had the 6pack going for a season. This is a great setup for being able to crank the music loud, but stay on a reasonable budget.
The mids are in cans with polyfill to smooth out the sound a little. There are plexiglass rings around all 6 of the speakers with blue led's attached to the inside of each ring. (they are the strips that have 1 LED per cm). There is also LED angel eye rings that are attached to the inside of the grills of the mids to make the cones on them glow blue. It looks pretty amazing. The grills of the mids were painted black to look better with the black horn tweeters. This setup is great to run off a 2 channel amp at 2 ohms. (I think the PPI P600.2 did a fantastic job). It's definitely great for music at wakeboard length, and you can hold your own in the party cove without draining your bank account.
