New surf platforms are around $1k with the sea-deck and trim from the dealer. They are nicer that what you had back in 2006 for surfing. It will match your boat color Not sure if you looked at new ones.
I would go that route if you surf a lot and do not want the drag in the water.

You might get a hit on here for used one, but it will not match your boat. Probably have to paint and/or get a new pad for the top. That black-stuff on the top orig platforms sucks after a period of time when it starts to wear off.
