I admit the engine does look a little rough around the edges. I may pull it next off-season, put some goodies in it, and give it a fresh coat of paint.
The vinyl is starting to look a little rough around the edges. Notice the tears in in the observer seat. I'm hoping to get some "towel" fitted seatcovers made so I can squeeze a couple more years out of it.
If you zoom in you see the switch panels on the dash. There is a story behind those. The original curved plastic switch panels are notorious for cracking. The replacements that I got made of the superalloy Inconel.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inconel
They didn't cost me a dime though. I need to get a better picture of them.Inconel is often encountered in extreme environments. It is common in gas turbine blades, seals, and combustors, as well as turbocharger rotors and seals, high temperature fasteners, chemical processing and pressure vessels, tubing, steam generators in nuclear pressurized water reactors, natural gas progressing with contaminants such as H2S and CO2, firearm sound suppresor blast baffles, and Formula One exhaust systems.Inconel is increasingly used in the boilers of waste incinerators.

The playpen is much shallower on the Mariah compared to the Sunsport. At rest the tip of the bow is probably only 8" off the water. Makes it very easy to take a roller over the bow.
The sub. It's a JBL W12GTi that I bought for a car install in 2003. I had a sealed box custom made to fill the ski locker. It's powered by a Phoenix gold Tantrum 1200w D-class amp, turned WAAAAY down of course.

Sorry, got the pic's now......Did GM mess up on the color match!!???
Boat still looks awesome, does that red have a name?
That was me; I couldn't make up my mind how I wanted to post them.

Thanks man. I'm sure it did, but I don't know what it was. I just had the guys at the boatshop sand the oxidation off and match the color from that. I think it may have turned out with just a tinge more orange than the original though. For $700, I'll deal with it. The shop said it should last 7-10 years. If I get 10 years out of it, I'll be very happy and just have em paint it again.Boat still looks awesome, does that red have a name?

That's hot man. I have a ton of room in my Sunsport, and that's only 21'8" with out the platform. That Mariah is one long sleek ski boat! It looks like you have ton of room to stretch out... I like the longer play pen too.
I must admit... 92'-99' may have been one of Supra's best series of boats...
