1988 pirata conversion to a saltare

Is it possible to take the cap off a saltare and put it on my pirata
Kids are all grown up and wife would like a bow rider and instead of buying a different boat wondering if finding an old rotten stringer saltare and removing cap and fitting it to my pirata would be an option0CFDA23F-E4A3-4E4B-8797-732EF5B18E1A.jpg

Should work as the difference between the Saltare and the Pirata was the top cap I believe.
