I guess I will show you the top cap damage now. This is my mistake. Would have rather had all my toe nails pierced but you live and learn and then find the best fiberglass shop in town and shell out a lot of money. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Still painful though 2 years later as the top cap was in pretty mint condition for its age. I do not recommend you try this at home.
