Not sure what kills me more, the cracked fiberglass or the fact it has now sat outside for 2 years. Both suck!!
This boat was never stored outside at all in the prior 36 years to the accident. Never. I built a garage around this boat so in hindsight, probably would have figured out a way to store it back inside if possible. Lesson learned.

Post accident, I jacked the top cap up and then used my finest carpentry skills to make custom pine 2x4 pieces that blended in nicely with the fiberglass. You can't even tell where the damage is now and just thought about leaving it like this. It would probably buff out nicely and no one would notice.
