    Default too powerful lol..

yesterday a friend and me went out for testrun #4.
i already knew that the auto choke didnt work, but today it was tougher to keep that 454 runnin. I was about to give in when it finally began to idle good.
as usual, it spit and sputtered but it coninued even after the engine was good and warm.
we tied the doghouse back, took the breather off and began our "what if's"
what if the check valve was too stiff, or the pump was too weak, what if i rebuild the carb.
Why isn't the other two barrells opening on the carb?
we fired her up and while my freind drove i manually opened the other two barrell.

OH MAN!!! The classic 4 barrell sound, a fraction af a second later my boat was on top of the water and sounded like a well oiled machine.
    4300 rpms and flying.

All the troubles, all the money, in that one moment it was all worth it.

I've had muscle cars, but this boat is better than a 1979 Bandit addition T/A.

Still a long way to go, but now i know!!!
