I don't know about that listing, but be careful about a recent listing on Craigs for another 1988 Supra Comp.

It is a beautiful white boat with light blue stripes, and a solid white interior.

Tis a very good looking boat, and it was mine until I sold it two weeks ago.

When I put it up for sale I originally priced it at $7500. It has very low hours, runs great, and I thought it was in excellent condition.

The first person to look at it was ready to buy it for that asking price, provided his home marina gave it a clean bill of health.

    It did not.

The marina found rotten wood under the engine mounts, and estimated $3000 for repair costs.

I dropped my price to $4500 accordingly, but he decided not to buy it, and I certainly understood that decision.

I sold it to a young fellow two weeks ago for $4500 with full disclosure of the rotten wood found by the marina, and the estimated costs for repair.

He now has it listed on Craigs for $7000.00. Described as great condition "front to back", with no mention at all of any rotten wood.

    Buyer Beware
