Did you already have a bimini or did you never have one?
d- you gotta make it and have a canvas shop cover it, that way you can make it like a DIY Z-5....

Got it! Well I guess it would depend on if you are going to go the regular bimini route or whether you want the cargo rack bimini style. It looks like they make a bimini specifically for the Krypt tower. Check out this link...

Hey Mikey, I made my own bimini using PVC pipe, it really wasn't heavy enough to stand up to the wind at full throttle. I also couldn't figure out a great way to secure it other than some metal eyelets and basically tying it to the tower just underneath the cross bar. Im gonna have to redo the canvas as it tore in a thunderstorm, any suggestions on securing it or making it heavier?
I think overtons sells the kind of supports that the professional hard-top biminis use. They are like an adjustable-length rigid bar. Sorry but I have never made a rigid bimini. THere are users here who have, though!
Here is the bimini I made. As luck would have it, I have SEVERAL links to resources for DIY-hard-top biminis

sorry mikey, I meant to say that the frame is 1 inch PVC with canvas stretched over it. Didnt know if anyone knew of something I could possibly fill the PVC with to give it some weight?
What about sliding metal tubing inside the pvc?
