Default My Supra tail board redone

Kevin sanded off the old stuff, they had applied some sort of coating over the teak wood. Then we just reapplied teak oil - 2 coats! the bottom pic is what it looked like before.

I know it's boat porn & all, but is it o.k. to look when a Newbie Girl shows you the before and after pics of the wood on her tail?

    I'm sorry, but it's been a long Monday & couldn't resist - delete/edit/repremand/bash if you must.

Seriously, it looks great. Refinishing teak is a PITA for sure, but the results are beautiful & classic. Good job.

Sybrmike, I thought that was hilarious, so no need to delete, reprimand, etc. Guess I didn't realize how it sounded Just trying to be one of the guys! (so to speak).

planning on surfing for the first time Easter w/end, new bags and new surfboard on it's way. Ummmm let's see did that come out right?

You think that's a PITA...the previous owner of my ski supreme painted the swim platform with 3-4 coats of a heavy, plasticised black paint...it's been a fun stripping job so far. I'm pretty sure he is aware that he will be going to hell for painting teak.
