Boat dies while going

This wknd we were out riding and boat just died like it was outta gas. It started right back up but died when i would accelerate. Cruising was fine . just when i went over 25 mph. Had plenty of gas so thats not problem. Fuel filter looked fine so not sure if that is problem. Just replaced fuel pump 2 yrs ago so not sure if thats problem. got it outta the water and noticed a exhaust flap was missing. Could this cause it to just die or is that just a coincidence? Any Help ?

check your fuel line / pick up tube in the tank mine was doing the same thing. turened out i had got some crap in the tank it sucked up after cleaning it out it ran great

The vent to the gas tank may be clogged. Unscrew the filler cap, take it for a spin, and see if the problem continues.
