Anybody runing the ACME 1939?
14 x 15.5 x LH x .105cup x 1 1/8"
I picked one up yesterday for my 03' SSV. I am currently running the "stock" 14x18 1/2 prop. Hoping the change will help with hole shot and surfing.
Opinions?

Nobody huh?
Well I hope to switch props in the morning and report back after the 4th. Hopefully that and 2,450 lbs of ballast and we will get this surfing stuff figured out!
oh I bet you will be impressed, just watch the rpms unloaded

What a difference! I have a lot more pull coming out of the water. I slalomed this weekend and it almost pulled the handle out of me hands. Much better speed control for wakedboarding. Didn't get a chance to set up for surfing, but I am sure it will be better.
I did loose 3-4 mph on the top end, down to 39mph bouncing off the rev limiter, and cruising @ 26mph was 3400rpm vs. 3000rpm with the old prop.
All in all I am happy with the change. If there are days I know we will be cruising a lot I will be temped to switch props for the day.
