I was going to upgrade the stock in-boat Kenwoods but after we heard them with the ARC amp it wasn't necessary at all. They were pretty dang loud and it's unbelievably loud with the Wetsounds added in. I mean, it's ear piercing LOUD. I can't even turn my radio up 3/4 of way with out it hurting my ears. It's a little over the top in my opionion but I didn't know it was going to be this loud. If I was going to do it again I'd just get the one Pro485 or two Pro80s. Sounds great when I'm wakeboarding behind the boat but it's really too loud for the in-boat passengers. In fact, people moved to the front of the boat yesterday while we pulled boarders just because it was so loud but then again, it's great for the person being pulled.

Great install! It's gotta rock!!! Got a quick question. How did they mount the amps? Are they on carpeted boards? It looks like they're screwed into the fiberglass walls.

    Thanks

They are very small screws. They are screwed right into the regular carpet there on the wall left.

It' rocks. The 15 inch sub with the custom box frigg'n booms when I turn it up. I think I may need one more sub though just for low end bass. The Wetsounds are unbelieveable though. They sounds so crisp when you're riding behind the boad and they have pretty good bass themselves.

Thanks for the info on the screws. Are they just regular very short sheet metal type screws?

If you were to go with another sub...could you go with a bandpass box to really hit the low ends? Just a thought. I'm not sure that would work. I know it would be a sloppy boom, but might fill that very bottom end. Anyway keep us posted on what you do and thanks again.
