Thinking of staying era correct and towing the 1989 pirata with my 1990 Dodge dakota.
Bought the dakota for $300 a month or so ago. Just used it to move the boat to the garage
so I could get busy and be close to the tools.

Great deal on the Dakota. Do you know what the tow rating is for that truck. It looks like you may be pushing the limits, and I think you were talking about coming down to TN for our Supra get-together this summer.
Hey Gogger; I don't know how safe that is. I would suggest keeping it below 35mph.

Just joking. Just moved it from the barn to the garage. I will be towing it with my dually. Just used the dakota to move it this afternoon.

Yea a while back on the thread about loading ramp stories someone posted about using their new 1990 dodge dakota to tow their buddies new boat.... Anyways made me think of it when I was hooked up.
I use my cherokee to move the bravura around the property wouldnt even think about trying on the ramp.
90 bravura 351 1.23/1pmc40 Pefectpass stargazer wake
You only need two tools wd-40 and duck tape
If it should move and doesn't wd40
If it moves and shouldent duck tape
None of my rig hooked up to the boat yet, but here's my truck. 01 Tacoma with a Solid Axle Conversion
Your going to need a 6 inch drop I believe.
14"
I have it back strapped to the frame. The high clearance bumper is what does it because it's really not that tall of a truck
