    Default Is their an easy way to replace the back blower on a 1990 comp??

    THe back blower quit working and needs to be replaced - Is their an ewasy wasy to replace it or do I have to take the back seat totally out??

    If its anything like a 92' sunsport, you should be able to access it by removing the ski locker insert/tub. There are two blower motors on a sunsport, you might want to replace them both while you are at it, however removal of the tub would only take about 15min tops. Best of luck, hope this helps.

    on a comp, the rear bench will have to come out...not soo bad, if the flex hose exhausting from the blower is also cacked(its been in there a while) you get the added bonus of pulling the gas tank.... no fun at all depending on your hands ability....

    I found the easiest way to get to the blower is to remove the screws that hold the seat frame to the base and then just hinge the whole seat frame up onto the sun pad.(Kind of the opposite of opening the ski locker). Make sure to secure it to the swin platform to save you from a headache.
