Any one ever re-position the battery switch over by the bulkhead along the right side of Capt seat? Seems like all manufacturers like to put it in an area by the ob seat in a small door. Why not do away with that and put it over by the driver??

Probably b/c most batteries are mounted in the obs hatch. Short distance for battery cable. Some models had them in the center of the floor.
I do not mind the little door in the walkway. Better then lifting the seat.

Nautique has been doing this for years. I drove a 2015 and the switch was on the driver's side inches away from the keypad ignition.
Made perfect sense compared to Supra's let's put it where nobody will ever find it and can't reach it if they do find it engineering.

If it's hard to find, it means people who don't belong in my boat won't be able to purposefully turn on my batteries and ruin my day.
My buddies boat bat's were dead one day after kids had been in the boat, doing stuff that kids do. The adults on shore just thought they were jumping off the bow while it was anchored in the cove. He found the ignition in acc, transmission engaged forward, and bilge pump switch on. Luckily no kids turned the key all the way. My last boat the battery switch was in the starboard rear locker. It was a PITA, and we frequently forgot to turn it off.
The new Supra's need to have a T-plug holder that blocks access to the battery switch. That way, you don't forget either of them. The Nautique has the t-plug holder on the dash, which is smart.
I will agree that the battery switch somewhere in the drivers console would make sense, but if it were, I couldn't turn it off after lowering the tower.

I should add, I never switch mine back and forth when I’m on the lake.
When I show up for the weekend, once I contort my body underneath the OB seat, it gets turned from Off to 1+2 and that’s it until the weekend is over. If I’m listening to music for long period, it’s most likely on the lift at the dock with charger plugged into AC.
So, it’s not terribly annoying for me but Supra could have done a better job to begin with.
Having said that, if I spent over six figures for a surf boat, I’d expect it to be at the helm.

Love the walkway door location.
Didn’t care for the under seat location, but it makes sense to put it close to where the batteries are located.
