Default What tower mirror do you use?

What tower mounted mirror do you guys use? The reason i ask is that I am about to place an order for a tower and racks and a mirror from Krypt, but i just realized that their Cipa knockoff mirror is flat as opposed to convex like the real cipa. I am assuming that it will make me be able to see much less...

    Opinions?

Don't have a answer for you but I just put a Big Air Vapor on my boat over the weekend and love it! Hope yours goes smooth.

I really like my Samson Xtreme 3 Lens Wakeboard Tower Mirror. I can see everything, it has two side mirrors where you can adjust for out of wake view. Easy to adjust and remove. There is a vidio on their site.

I am torn between the CIPA extreme and the CIPA 180

The Extreme is the 3 mirrors. I wonder if we'd get stuck having to adjust the outer panels for each driver switch. If that's the case, that could get old quick.

The CIPA 180 is supposed to be clearer, but the skiiers in the mirror will look a lot smaller than in the Extreme. I heard that could make it harder to see hand signals if you're only looking in the mirror for them.

I think I'm honestly going to buy both of them and return the one that I don't like as much.

At the end of last season, I got a sweet ebay deal on a arm that had the pivot in the middle and it also already had the ball and socket mounting piece that I'll need for either of the above CIPA mirrors. It looks a lot like this one (but didn't come with the cheap mirror)

It looks like Samson is using the CIPA extreme and has the option for the upgrade to the CIPA 180. Those are the same two mirrors I'm debating between.

Add at least another $99 for a bracket if you want to use an arm.

Those are way to expensive IMO. I'd just as soon go with a CIPA 180 over them.

And if I needed to get a swivel adapter, I'd hit up DIY wake at $40 before paying PTM's prices.

It'll be interesting to see how a tower mirror works for us. As it is now, we have to adjust the mirror for my wife (5'2") vs myself (5'10"). This is really for surfing when we've got the boat sacked out, and the rear slammed and listing. My wife has to sit on the seatback and I typically drive standing up because we tend to run with the bow pretty high. If the windshield mirror is on the left side of the diver's head, it blocks her foward view, so she likes the mirror on the right side of her head.

I think a new mirror for us will be a nice improvement.
