Thank you! I did cut a window out of the glass to inspect, and it's dry as a bone. I'm happy with how it is at the time. If need be, its a pretty accessible spot to fix down the road.

Well would like to be a little further ahead than I am, but for mainly weekend work I am happy with where I stand. I am still in the clear for being in the water by spring, and that's what counts. I was able to cut, shape, and install the two main stringers throughout the week. I bedded them in on Sunday morning with the help of a friend. To bed the stringers, I used what's called "Gunk." Gunk is a polyester based filler for bonding stringers and filling voids. It's rock solid when cured. I was also able to cut and shape the outer stringers on sunday as well. I plan on bedding them into the hull tonight.

I've decided to upload these the better way as well. Uploading them to this site is a pain the normal way.

While I was waiting I just set a roll of Ice and water on the stringers to help hold them down, as well as some jack stands up front to do the same. Not entirely necessary, but it helped give a little down pressure during the cure time. The gunk ended up being a litte bit thinner than I'd like, but I went back over the stringers that evening and filled any small voids. As of today, these stringers are rock solid in the hull. So far so good!

Outer stringers cut and shaped, notched in the rear for limber holes. I glassed the limber holes on all 4 stringers before installing them. Main stringers are douglas fir, outers are clear pine. The clear pine was from a job my dad did about 15 years ago. Its perfectly straight, free of knots and BS, and super dry. Perfect for this job. First pic shows one of the outer stringers just sitting in place.

I hope to have the stringers completely glassed in by the end of the weekend. I hope a few family Christmas parties don't get in the way too much. Pre-cut some 1.5 oz mat when I had a bit of free time the other day, also have started cutting the floor supports. I set the 4x4's for the motor mounts last night, building the box this week one night.

Thanks! Yea, it is quite the project to tackle. I was standing over the boat last night and just thinking of how far I have come, it really doesn't seem like I have done much until I stop and take the time to think about it from the day I started until today. I cant wait to get it out on the lake!
